Colton Traylor has been coaching since 2014, and his first year at Robert E. Lee was in 2017. He is coaching special teams, varsity fullbacks, and is teaching middle school athletics. He is also the JV Head Coach and Director of Football Operations. His accomplishments include coaching the 2014 Gilmer 4A Division II State Champions, the 2015 Gilmer 4A Division II State Semifinalists, and the 2016 Gilmer 4A Division II State Semifinalist team. Coach C. Traylor graduated from Harmony High School where his football achievements include 1st team All-
District safety, 1st team All-District quarterback, and being a 3-year letterman. In baseball, he was a 2009 All-State first baseman, a 2 year 1st team All-District first baseman, and a 4 year letterman. In basketball, he was the 2007 Newcomer of the Year and earned 1st Team All-District. He has a B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Coach C. Traylor and his wife, Chelbi, have one child, Blakely. His hobbies include watching A&M sports, golfing, and reading.
