Corey Chancellor


Corey Chancellor has been coaching since 1995, and he began his career at Robert E. Lee in 2016. He is the co-defensive coordinator, coaches the secondary, is the head girls Track coach, and teaches Health. His coaching achievements include participating in the 2009 Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was the Defensive Coordinator at Trinity Valley Community College in 2005 when the Cards claimed the SWJCFC Championship and finished the year ranked 4th in the nation. Coach Chancellor graduated from Athens High School and earned his B.S. from Texas A&M University Commerce. His coaching career spans various high schools in the Dallas, Houston and East Texas areas as well as Trinity Valley Community College and East Texas Baptist University. He is married to Bethany, a 2nd Grade teacher in TISD at Rice Elementary. They have two children, Camryn and Connor. His hobbies include enjoying time with his family and playing golf.
