Monta’Jeffley

Defensive Backs | JV Defense

Monta’ Jeffley has been coaching since 2012, and 2019 was his first year at Robert E. Lee. He is coaching varsity defensive backs, JV defense, varsity boys track, as well as teaching special education inclusion. Coach Jeffley graduated from Jefferson High School where he played defensive back and wide receiver. In basketball, he played shooting guard and played in the Area Finals. He also qualified for the Regional Track Meet as a sprinter. He attended the University of Texas at Tyler where he earned a B.S. in Kinesiology and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership. While at UT Tyler, Coach Jeffley was a member of the Men’s Track and Field team where he qualified for the Texas Relays and was named UT Tyler Distinguished Runner. Prior to coming to Robert E. Lee, Coach Jeffley was the head boys varsity basketball coach in Bullard, Texas for two years. Monta’ enjoys Playstation 4 gaming, running, football, basketball, golf, tennis, traveling and staying active.
